Isn't everything a process?

>> No.17203877

>>17203874
Yes, but there's a blurry line at the crossing between processed and heavily processed.
Heavily processed is usually filled with HFCS, preservatives, stabilizers, non-expeller-pressed seed oils, etc.

HFCS is just a bad ingredient like sugar and most preservatives aren't bad for you

>> No.17204550

even veggies are processed by the hands of farmers, some cute, some gross, some barely hanging on to life due to poor wages and mean living conditions

define the process and we can judge weather processed food is real good or real bad.

you're grasping at straws, everyone accepts the word "processed" to mean more than simply food moving through a factory. "processed" in most peoples minds means either removing undesirable parts which are linked to greater nutrition or adding chemicals. for example grinding whole wheat berries in a flour mill is technically "processing" it even though it's the same thing just in flour instead of a seed, but it's not something the average person thinks of when they think of processed food.

But your argument was that adding chemicals is bad, therefor adding water to a dish is bad.

coca cola is mostly water therefore it is water.

you are grasping at straws again, most people would not consider water to be a chemical even though it technically is. you're arguing semantics.

Lmfao I'm pretty sure most people know water is a chemical

>> No.17204646

>>17204639
not in the sense of it being applicable to processed food. adding water to a food does not mean a chemical has been added in most peoples eyes.

>> No.17204665

>>17204646
Technically you don't even have to add anything for food to be considered processed. You're just making this extremely confusing
