Shrimp and Grits I had for breakfast at a diner today seemed weird and I had to shit immediately after getting home.
I guess one time chicken made me throw up but nobody else who ate it got sick. I was the only kid so maybe I didn't have antibodies for whatever in the chicken made me sick

When I moved to Billings, Montana, I was reliably informed that Krazy Mary's Fish and Chips was the best seafood in town. I came from Florida, I didn't know any better, I thought seafood would be good anywhere, wasn't a snob about freshness. I go to this shack with a friend, there's a layer of dust and grease caked onto every surface, and the fryers are full of pitch black, smoking oil. I don't think those fryers ever been changed. My friend convinces me to ignore every single red flag. The titular Krazy Mary took our order, in between ranting about how bad meth is, and not so subtly calling us a couple of homos, and I got a fish taco. I couldn't even finish it after two bites, the greasiest, most disgusting, rancid fish I've ever eaten, it even smelled awful. Krazy Mary tried to call me gay one more time, so I threw the remnants of the fish taco at her and stormed off. Twenty minutes later, at home, I go from feeling fine to intense, violent vomiting and diarrhea. Over the next two days, I thought I would die, I slept by the toilet and kept a bucket around to vomit in while I shit, because every time I had to do one, I had to do the other.
For the next six years I lived in that town, I heard people talking about how great Krazy Mary's is, and no one ever believed me, except for the few others I'd met over the years who were from better places.

No food in particular fucked me up, really. I did have food poisoning so bad that I had to go to the hospital for an IV since I couldn't keep anything down. Got it from a Super Star with cheese at Carls Jr.

I could feel it in my stomach, just not going down, for about 2 hours before I ended up throwing it all up, piece by piece, all undigested. Then I spent the next 12 hours throwing up, not able to keep anything down, with a 105 degree fever. Ended up driving myself down to the E.R., dazed out of my mind and hunched over the wheel. Probably the closest I've ever felt to death. Was hearing voices and everything, felt like I was going insane from the dehydration.

My brother made some fantastic spaghetti one time when I was visiting his house, had a couple of plates, all was good.
The next morning, I was vomiting and shitting with the force of a thousand suns, and it tasted nearly the exact same coming back up. Haven't been able to eat spaghetti without getting a little bit nauseous ever since.

For the most part I can pretty much eat anything without getting an upset stomach. I can recall two times in which I actually got sick from food:

They did get investigated. They got a $25 million fine for food safety failures in 2015 (in a bunch of locations, for multiple different types of outbreak), 2017 & 2018. A few years ago I bought some woolies sausages, froze them for a while and then defrosted them in the fridge to cook. When I first cooked them up I thought one of them smelled funny but the rest were fine so I figured it was just the flavouring (it wasn't just a basic sausage, it was like pepper & garlic beef). Normally I'd have thrown out the lot just to be safe but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to bother with buying a new dinner or going to the shops to get something else.

The other day I made poppy pod tea. Was real desperate to get high didn't even test put the potency. Legit used this entire plant (see pic). Had to get a flight I was wandering round the airport all fucking opiated. Pretty crazy really. Spent like 48 hours basically lying in bed puking in and out of a dream delirious state..

it was a nice fresh and clean place but man i got a few miles down the highway and had to over emergency style in broad daylight and just clear visibility to all the traffic. There was a regional Mexican chain that a friend raved about. There was one around where I lived at the time so I went to check it out. I ordered Pollo a la Crema (chicken in some cheesy cream sauce with mushrooms that they served over Mexican rice). From what I remember, it didn't taste bad but wasn't mind blowing either.

Within an hour or so of leaving the place, my stomach was in knots. My apartment was small so thankfully the toilet and bath tub were right next to each other. For about 2-3 hours straight, it was the exorcism out one end or the other or both at the same time with me having to rely on the tub as an extra vessel. I spiked a fever, my eyes were bloodshot from how violently I was vomiting, and my back/abdomen were so sore from being hunched over. I should have gone to the hospital for dehydration, but I was too tired to move and couldn't go more than 10 minutes without needing to rush the bathroom.

By the time I felt like I could try to sleep, I spent over 18 hours going in and out of a feverish daze, sipping water when I could.

I'm sick right now and sure from what, it started 1 month ago but wasn't that bad but last week things took a turn for the worse and i woke with half my body numb and my muscles hurting and running to the bathroom every 10 min, i have nothing left in me so now i just dry heaving
i think it's time to go to the hospital

This happened to me once when I was like 20. I remember just very suddenly feeling nauseous and then getting on all fours naked in the bathroom to puke because I was so uncomfortable I couldn't wear clothes.
