I put too much salt in my apple crumble's topping because I poured from the container... and there was a fucking clump. The worst part? My friends loved it. But I knew the truth. There was too much salt and now there'll be hell to pay.

I did the exact same shit a month ago.
>make chicken stock from carcass in fridge
>simmer for 4 hours, smells amazing
>mom calls, tell her I'm making soup
>asks me to bring it over to taste
>decide to use entire stock as broth for soup instead of concentrating it to save time
>throw in chicken breast and veggies but proportions are off, soup is a bit thin
>decide to add some orzo to make it thicker
>1hr before I leave soup is still water-like consistency
>panic and add in rest of orzo
>take it to moms, entire thing is like 90% orzo with some scattered veggies and chicken bits by the time I get there

She said it tasted really good but I think she was just saying that to make me feel better.
I just wanted to make the chicken soup she used to make when I was sick, instead I got orzo with a little chicken flavor.
