How does grinding meat and putting it in a sausage skin make it worse for you?

There's just about nothing that isn't bad. Food or not.

If you process energy, you lose energy. That's just thermodynamics.
Food is energy. You process food, you lose energy. Fruit juice from a jar is just as unhealthy as Cola or Fanta.

>> No.17115133

>>17115117
Your logic makes no sense. Energy being lost? That does not connect to your idea of fruit juice and soda being nutritionally similar.

In australia, we have healthstar ratings out of 5. the funniest thing is they still use the outdated format of fats = bad, so proper cured meat will get a 1 out of 5 while processed garbage in the freezer section will get 3.5/5.

I thought processed meant grinded meat/veggies too at one point, as a cook. it's got more to do with the additives, though.

Most of the processed meat has added Sodium Nitrite, which is not too harmful in small quantities but if you eat it every day it's pretty bad for your health

It's just basic physics. Energy isn't created or destroyed. It converts to other forms.

Putting lots of salt, nitrite or smocking it makes it bad for you. It tastes great though so i still eat it.

Yes, they also eat lots of tomatoes and other vegetables/fruits high in antioxidants which can help remove nitrates from the body. The Mediterranean diet is pretty fuckin based
