On a cousin's farm when we wanted to butcher a pig we'd jump into the pen and just start pounding it with baseball bats. That shit was fucking dangerous, pigs are big and really strong. A few years ago I was in our small outbuilding milking when I felt something incredibly hot and soft against the side of my head. I live in eastern europe and my family just slaugher two pigs today. Slaughtering a pig the right way requires one skilled butcher and at least three guys whom help him. It is no that difficult, the butcher has to know its shit, but being a proffesional is not required. My uncle is "the butcher" and he slaughters like 7-8 pigs every year and that's it.
