Google "oleosaccharine." Basically you peel the limes then put the peels in a bowl and coat them in sugar. Let sit for several hours. The sugar draws out the lime oil. The sugar and lime oil make oleosaccharine, which dates back to antiquity. You add the oily sugar to hot water to dissolve it. Then add this sugar/water mixture to the lime juice from the juiced lime flesh. It's just a deeper flavor limeade. You have the usual juice from the flesh, as well as the complex essence of the lime oil. Mix with rum for a delicious daiquiri. Works with lemonade too.
