Met a girl (not her) Should I invite her out to some fancy restaurant, all expenses. Or try to make whatever I can think of, also plus really good red.
Budget about $500

Just but $480 wine and get McDonald's

are you a good cook? are you interested in getting to know her, or just trying to fuck? what social class is she from?
maybe take her to a wine bistro and slowly get her drunk while feeding her fruit and cheese on a $500 budget

>> No.17082750

If a woman is impressed by you wasting $500 on a fancy dinner you should run the fuck away. Also you're an idiot.

You shouldn't be asking out someone to your house on the first date. Were you born yesterday? Get to know a person without them being on edge about date rape drugs or that you're a sociopath. Feel each othere in a neutral space. Start the relationship out correctly. Did you not have any training from your parental influences?

Fairly good. I like her a lot, she got this alternative vibe. From ..hmm, not sure.
Maybe to a winebar where some sommelier can raise and praise.

If you just met her, take her to a cheap, small local joint with decent food. She ain't royalty, anon, and even if she was, she'd probably still be eating at cheap spots with good chow.

No.

You should get to know her before spending any real money

your budget should only be $500 if you make half a million a year and that's a regular night out for you. you do not go big on someone you barely know

women can smell the desperation

I suppose, if she likes cheese toast and pasta and a menu where every single item tastes the same. I used to take chicks to the nicest mexican place. Bitches love nachos, chips+dips, mexican cheese, margaritas, tacos, etc.

never do this. this is for your wife, not a prospect. if you have to impress a girl with money, she's not after you for you.

You should be trying to get to know her not trying to desperately impress her with your big bux. Just take her to a place with decent food that isn't too loud so you can hold a conversation with her.

>> No.17082899

Don't do this. You'll have to pretend to like her dumb hobbies as long as you're with her. If she's a boring cunt that likes stupid shit, don't bother taking her on a second date. Cut your losses. I'm guessing that you're not just trying to bang her. If you're just wanting to get your dick wet for a night, go pick up a bar whore instead.

Yeah, if you're a kid that doesn't know any better and is trying to get laid, that's a good idea. I'd never take a woman out on a second date if she was boring and disliked my hobbies/I disliked her hobbies.

>> No.17083424

Pretending for a second this is real, if you want to take someone out, you should pretty much always just spend whatever you would normally spend on a nice night out for yourself, doing anything else is retarded. If you want a relationship with the person you shouldn't be trying to pretend that you're fancier than you are because your won't be able to keep it up long term and if you're not looking for a relationship then why would you blow a bunch of money on trying to get laid? It's inefficient and pretty pathetic.

why is everyone here just trying to get laid?
you should do a walking date instead and get like coffee at some place. it's /fit/, you get to have deep conversations with many topics, or not, and it's cheap.

Real talk:
A “modern” woman (assuming she’s on the young side) doesn’t care how much a meal costs at a restaurant, or how much effort and time you put into making one at home.
She *definitely* doesn’t care about expensive wine; you’re better off giving her a cheap sweet rosé than an expensive red. My go-to is white zin. I’ve never met a woman <35 who doesn’t love white zin.
What really matters is how good the food/plating/setting looks. Specifically, how “instagramable” it is.
Unless she’s the incredibly rare sort who forms her own opinions rather than seeking group-approval, you aren’t taking just her on a date. You’re taking her entire social and social media circle along with you.
The cost and even the taste of the food is secondary to the Instagram likes (or lack of) she gets when she posts a pic of the dinner along with #datenight or whatever.
If she’s being served something, either at a restaurant or by you, that looks good in a phone-pic, you’re pretty much golden.
