1) You already want your farms to treat its animals humanely. But in the end you still have someone slaughter them for you. Vegans see this as hypocritical, and most people don’t make sense when they try to justify this (I can, but I’m not a retard).
2) Going vegan is relatively easy and cheap if you’re not a glutton. I go pescatarian vegan (like vegan, but I’m allowed fish) during lent for religious purposes. It’s easy, but you need to actually pay attention to what you eat.
3) Do you take any moral stances of your own, or are you another moralless modern slave? If you have morals, you understand your opinions of people who break them. Vegans make a different moral assumption, but you at least know the emotion it comes from.
