As a kid, McDonald's was the place that money could afford, but BK and Wendy's was a once in a blue moon treat and even then I could taste the difference in quality.

I gradually stopped eating fast food after tasting Wendy's, and I wasn't going back to that slop Ronald was serving.

Every single fast food restaurant went down in quality once the founders left or passed on.
Yes. Even McDonald's, McDonald's use to be pretty fucking good and had a sense of customer services.
Honestly Dave was one of those founders who demanded thing be done with quality in mind but at some point age would have taken it's toll and he would have stepped down.

I remember when if McDonald's wasn't an option Burger King was the best alternative.
The old chicken parm sandwich was like their McRib when it came back people would bust the door down.
The last time I had Burger King it tasted like I was eating asbestos with a meat flavored mush.
