They're all good enough imo so I'm not one to complain if all I have regular is sweet cream.
Anyways

Then they put it through a high powered blender/food processor and blend it till it really comes together. Then they wash that until the water isn't cloudy anymore. They then take that piece of butter and dip it in a cool water bath. Then they saran wrap it and that's it.

lmao, pure bullshit.

At most you'll get a week out of a stick of butter at room temp.

If you genuinely can't taste a difference with salted butter that's been on the counter for 3-4 hours vs salted butter that's been out on the counter for a week, you're a tastelet faggot that shouldn't be making any sort of statements on this shit.

It wont grow bacteria because of the salt and pasteurization, but it WILL go rancid, for it to go rancid all it needs is to oxidize the fats, which happens with exposure to the air, and higher temps (like room temp) as well as exposed to light.

A butter bell can help as it keeps your butter in a sealed environment with no air, but even then it wont last more than 2-3 weeks before it starts to turn.

If you think salted butter doesn't go rancid, you're just a retard.

You should freeze it instead, lasts longer

I keep 5-10lbs of butter in the freezer and pull them out as needed.

made my own butter yesterday for the first time. Turned out good but I just want some tips for efficiently getting the butter milk from the butter, and then rinsing it clear with water. I was kneding it on the side of my mixing bowl a few times but I feel like there has to be a quicker and better way.

I would actually pay 15/lb for seaweed butter. Curious if it meets the hype, as a lover of both butter and seaweed

No space in freezer. The tray is full of 6 blocks of mozzarella when fully stocked (2.3 Kg each brick, so 13.8 Kg), and I use the gap in the middle under the shelf for ice cream or other stuff. The top shelf can host 12 ice cube trays when empty, but I don't like keeping them in there in case I need room. I put the odd frozen item I buy on the shelf there like ice cream or frozen pizzas.

Most of the fridge has specific items 'assigned' to the particular area for best use of space. On the right on the main shelf I keep a couple of 3-4 kg food containers, stacked. Usually it's mayo and sour cream on top, but soon I'll buy a 3 Kg bucket of feta for pizzas, so it'll be mayo with feta on top.

I have to treat my little fridge/freezer set like a game of Tetris to fit my food in.

If you ain't buying raw milk butter, preferably grass fed. You don't know shit about butter. Same thing with cheeses.

I’m glad someone else feels this way. I don’t like it either. I can’t understand why people go apeshit over it
