not at all, its okay to not enjoy holidays and not want to celebrate
its important to not get down on yourself if you choose to spend a major holiday alone or away from family and friends, its your decision and not something to be ashamed of
my only advice would be to avoid hamfisted attempts to eat "traditional" thanksgiving foods; no ones forcing you to have a meal like that on thursday so why not do yourself a little better and enjoy the food?

I'm in NYC so my opinion may be skewed, but no clerk in any store gives two fucking shits what you buy. Nor does anyone care how you spend your holiday.

I spend all Thanksgivings alone because I'm a loner and I don't go visit my parents in redneckville until Christmas. Some years I get some traditional food, other years I get Chinese or Indian food, other years I don't eat anything special at all. Sometimes I get drunk, sometimes I don't.

Ultimately it's just another day.

this. Just get or make whatever you feel like eating that day, treat yourself to your favorite food or whatever. Last year I decided to stay home even though I had an invite somewhere and I just had a frozen pizza and watched movies with my cats. It was great and stress free.
