i think OP this might turn out better if you'd taken the existing ingredients and chopped em up (including the bread), mixed em up and made stuffed chicken skin rolls. probably roast them like cabbage rolls, might need a little spot of broth and frequent basting but think of all that good fat rendering down into the stuffing
