My all-time max was 100 pieces and a few appetizers. I can probably never do that again, I had to basically force myself because I wasn't about to pay for leftover sushi.

Super hard choice for me, I'd probably just go for more nigiri nowadays, salmon specifically. I'm a sucker for the fried american stuff though, I love getting the godzilla roll at the place near me (Eel, shrimp, crab, cream cheese ,avocado, white fish, deep fried w. spicy sauce & eel sauce)

I fucking hate how 90% of the sushi on menus at the sushi places near me deep fry shit. It’s ok for a few rolls but I’d like a little variety.

What is the white fish that is super fatty, is that mackerel or yellowtail? Whenever I get sushi there's always two types of white fish, one that is meh and bland, probably albacore, and one that is super fatty and delicious, and is far less "chewy." I figure the latter is either mackerel or yellowtail

in nippon (japanese for japan), asagohan (breakfast) is very traditional. the most important part is the gohan (japanese for rice). also, you may have some miso shiru (soy bean paste soup) on the side and various side dishes. these can include tsukemono (japanese for pickles) or natto (fermented soy beans) or even saba (mackerel). to accompany this, the beverage of choice is oocha (japanese tea). as you can see, a typical nihonjin's (japanese person's) breakfast is not sweet as in many western households, but rather very umami (no english word for this unique japanese flavor yet!)!!

There was a place near me which did something called a dragon boat, which was awesome and had fresh salmon, fresh tuna, surf clam etc; but they shut down because of the chink virus

Mackerel is the salty one. Yellowtail is sweet. There's an off chance it could be escolar, depending on the restaurant.

I don't eat the processed chemical crabmeat sushi (very bottom) and nagiri (3rd top) makes me want to puke for some reason, even though it's so similar to sushi, and I love sushi, guess it needs that seaweed for me.

why is japanese cuisine so hilariously bad?
the main staple dish of nipponland is sushi which is literally just fish on rice
their curry is just watered soup
ramen is just inferior version of authentic Chinese noodles
even instant noodles is taiwanese (Chinese) and not from japan

why could the nips not make a satisfactory cuisine?

Ok, raw. But yes all sushi grade fish must first be frozen.
