Most problems with supply vary state by state. And in ours it's fucking gone. State distribution claims the supply problem is on Hennessy's side and there's simply none coming in at all - so either your state had a larger backstock it's coasting off of, or our state is lying. Either is possible in my experience.

Years ago when I worked in a restaurant I came up with a mix of menthol and clove oils that completely prevented coughing and covered the smell so well that you could smoke a joint standing next to someone without them knowing it's weed or keep a roach in your pocket without anyone being able to smell it. Per distributor, right? Not literally just one delivery a week? Is this state controlled? I don't know how one of those systems would work. I really only know my state, and it's a three tier system, but I'm assuming that's normal for most. We had a a handful of distubtors, and I think we could get them most days throughout the week. I wasn't doing the ordering though, and I wasn't there in the mornings for the truck at the time. They all carried the same shit, more or less. Then laws changed, distributors got "rights" to certain brands, and then we got like one scheduled day from the major ones. Maybe two if we were good goys and bought enough inventory. :^) But yeah that meant we from being able to get more shit like Fireball or Titos the next day most of the time, or at least next Monday, because at least everyone had the popular items, if we were running low, to having to start stockpiling and then shitting our pants if we ran out over the weekend because somehow everyone needed it and the fucking company that had the "rights" to it only delivered to us on Friday.
It was awful. But my boss, who was the store owner, didn't really like stockpiling as much like some of the other liquor stores around us did.

If I remember right, OP is from Ohio, which would mean it's state controlled. From NC myself and the premise is more or less the same - stores are state agencies and you can deal with distributors yourself to get beer, wine, and other low-proof stuff, but anything high proof HAS to be distributed by the state. Which would mean a single truck, period.

Well obviously there's multiple trucks out delivering shipments, it's just your store is only getting one shipment a week. I pitched in to help a buddy's store unload one week and they basically had 12 pallets, anywhere from 50-80 cases per pallet, that they'd unload by hand.
