I'm not even going to make a joke out of this, Finnish cuisine runs the gamut from utterly boring to fucking heinous.

And don't respond to me with some bullshit big platter of meat, every country has big platters of meat, you're not manly for eating a big platter of meat, you don't even call it a cool name. Hell, even the Balkans have the aptly named "Pig Slaughter" which is more festival than anything.

I spend almost all my money and free time on four things:

Travelling
Cooking & eating
Sailing
Growing/hunting/foraging

I am will have experienced 46 global cuisines by March (going to Indonesia) unless covid fucks my plans over before then, like it has all year long.

I also have a soft spot for Swedish cuisine, but having grown up there probably makes me very biased. I dare you to not enjoy moose meat balls with pressed potatoes, lingon berries, Swedish cream sauce and quick-pickled cucumbers, though.

sure, it's pretty easy. It's chestnut flour with pine nuts, raisins, water sugar and rosemery

How is that annoying? it's like a hasselback potato or that bloomin' fried onion. You just pick a leaf and put it in your mouth

No, I am not confusing it with Tuscany. In Genoa, you get focaccia, and that is salted yes, but their sandwhich breads are almost never salted. Why??

You hold the artichoke with the stem and pick the leaves

> but their sandwhich breads are almost never salted. Why??
Not true, you just happen to buy saltless bread but it's not something common
In Tuscany instead it's traditional, legends say that it was because of the maritime republic of Pisa imposed tax on salt, so people started making saltless bread.
