When I buy Mac and Cheese I buy Kraft because I want to experience the same joy I used to have once a week when my babysitter would make us M&C and dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets. I don't care about the one which is healthier or more organic or is made with flax or which company sends its profits to poor Africans, I want that shitty, fatty, borderline gross mass produced shit so I can revel in my childhood and remember eating it while watching Clarissa Explains it All and Doug.

No it fucking doesn't. Annie's is by far the worst mac and cheese brand. Flavorless trash. If I'm eating mac and cheese it should be a cheesey flavor explosion, not some weak organic imitation. That's the entire point of mac and cheese.

Even if easy mac cost twice as much as annie's I still wouldn't choose annie'a over easy mac.
Easy mac actually has flavor. Annie's offers you the label of "organic" as a consolation prize for being flavorless but that's about all it provides.

>he's only finding about the organic scam now
mate, companies and restaurants have been doing this for years.
slapping organic onto something is the easiest way a group can charge twice or 3x as much for the exact same product.
in most countries and states there's no law stating that a product advertised as "organic" actually has to be.

it's just another marketing term like "fresh" or "farm fresh" and other buzzwords slapped onto packaging.

so the type of 'milk' just affects the flavour? not consistancy/texture or anything. basically i could use 'water milk' in my boxed mac and cheese and texture would be the same, ya/na?

In my experience, type of milk doesn’t affect the flavor to a significant degree, but *absolutely* has a major impact on consistency.
I once made some using lactose-free milk; the result was insanely thin/watery “cheese” sauce.
>inb4 lol powder mac sauce is always delicious thin
I mean relative to the same product made with “normal” milk.

But I’m curious why you’d want to make it with oat milk (assuming you’re >>16922670).
It’s not as if the product is vegan.

becuase we have oatmilk in the fridge and i dont want to buy a gallon of milk for $3 or a quart of milk for $2.50 for just one or two boxes of mac n cheese

where can i get creamer packets? can i get a $1 large fry from mcdonalds and ask for 3packets of creamer? i live in the hood, do they have creamer packets at the coffee bar at gas stations in the hood?

where can i take or buy small amounts of dairy cream/milk?

>> No.16923557

>>16922922
It affects both flavor and texture. Oat milk will be slightly less creamy and will have a slightly oatmeal taste (at least that's what I get from it).
