Try all the street food. Lived there for a couple years and I gotta say, the shit I really miss is stuff like kimbab, tteokbokki, ssundae, and dumplings. Besides that yuukgaejang (spicy beef broth soup), army stew, and guksu is all I really miss. Korean BBQ too, of course.

The first time I had Korean food was when I was 13 taking an international trip to Thailand with my family. We had a connecting flight at the airport in Seoul and they had bibimbap listed on the menu, I ordered it and it was honestly the best plane served food I'd ever eaten. That shit is bomb comfort food and I order it to this day as a treat from the local Korean restaurant.

GOD I FUCKING MISS DAKGALBI. AND YES, GIVE ME GROSS "CHEESU" ON TOP LIKE ALWAYS. I hate living in the northern wastelands, never seen even a Korean fusion restaurant here, let alone anything authentic.
