I've noticed it too. Maybe it's because fish is generally softer? Supposedly the act of chewing helps with feeling full, and if fish is softer it doesn't have to be chewed as much. I'm not really sure what else it could be. People will say it's because fish is generally leaner but even when eating fish with added fat it still doesn't feel as filling as meat or even eggs/dairy.

I think it's because fish servings are smaller than meat servings, and lower fat content makes it digest faster.

Try eating a pound of salmon alone and you'll be pretty full like eating a pound of pork

I don't eat fish because I am not a pozzed up bug chaser from a coastiecuck inner city. I am so glad I live in an upper middle class neighborhood in the upper midwest where the median household income is over $43,000 a year. Should have learned a trade instead of paying over $10,000 for that collegecuck critical race theory degree, oh sorry what's that? I can't hear you through your safety mask, what's wrong are you afraid of the wuhan flu? LMAO grow a pair kid. There are only two foods for a real man: steak, whisky, done. If you have a problem with that take it up with the bartender, facts don't care about your feelings.

Do you like the gritty bone and guts texture? I enjoy them more with something; on bread/toast with, or in fisherman’s eggs to overcome this.

>>16886644
Fresh: salmon, tuna, barramundi, sweet lip.
Canned: mackerel, herring (smoked/kippers), tuna, sardines.
Dirty feed at fish and chip shop: cod.
Most frequent is fresh salmon, I also eat mussels and scallops frequently.

Alaskanon here, my neighbor was chartered by deadliest catch to do some bass fishing for their bloodline spinoff since crab season cas cancelled this year,, now I’ve got a shit ton of sea bass caught by the deadliest catch captains, how should I cook it? I was thinking just a pan fry with old bay and some hashbrowns.

Sea bass = rockfish/rock cod/black bomber, right? I have a couple from my season at a fishing lodge and I love fish tacos. I'll have to look into that. Other option is steamed. The chinks go crazy for steamed rockfish.

I mostly eat salmon filets or canned tuna. I'll eat deenz from time to time. Christmas means my mum is making pickled herring and beets salad, and smoked mackerel and peas salad, and I love both of those dishes and her very much.

rockfish is black sea bass? or a cod? A 'sea bass' is a larger, greener fish. with sweeter meat. The black rockfish i think you are referring to is edible as well, you could do the same recipes, iirc it isn't as sweet, but fuck it, do it asian style any way you want, fried fish - you bet you can batter these fucks up and make fried fish and chips at home.
