First restaurant I worked at that doesnt have rice. Normally I live off rice beans , and chicken. Last place i worked i would take home the left over rice since it would just get thrown out at close.

On days off i usually will braise a bunch of chicken or beef and then just mix that into pasta or ramen or whatever and that holds me over until I got back to work.

I eat about 1,500 calories a day. I fast daily, then eat from 4-8pm. I have an envelope of smoked salmon, two eggs on high fiber bread, six turkey sausage links, a few pieces of cheese, a package of turkey pepperoni, and a cup of high protein low carb yogurt. me too. I think there are psychological reasons that go with the obvious physical ones for this. Most OMAD people are usuallly eating where they feel relaxed not scarfing down a fatburger that you drove 15 mins to get sat in line for 15 then drove 15 back eating it on your way to clock back in. It is the class bridge between fasting and regular life. I don't even answer the phone during my meals anymore.

I fasted and drank water until my stomach shrank so I can barely even eat a full meal, but now my heartburn is so bad that I tried all the drugs I could, pepto and prescribed to stop the pain and nothing helped. I can't even sleep unless I drink at least four 24FL. OPZ. 8% alcoholic drinks, and I wake up feeling like shit and haven't lost any weight. I can feel my body feasting on my muscles for essential minerals. And I don't even care that I'm so week that taking a jog makes my lower back hurt. I probably won't be alive much longer...just eat what you want, just be sure to exercise and lower the portions.
