If I were to get my own cake, I would probably get a small cheesecake, or a red velvet. When you let a 7 yr old pass out invites to other 7 yr olds and expect that to work out in some way, you're a bad parent. Well, I just finished eating a tasty cake so I guess I'll share the technical specs of it, with you as well.
It got 3 layers that had been moisturized with some raspberry juice and it got mushed banana and strawberry jam between the layers, the whole thing was covered in whipped cream and the top was covered in bits of dark chocolate to add a bit on an crunch. I would also recommend storing it in a fridge over the night.
