This is a Red Robin. You may have thought that they were a reputable burger chain, but I am here to tell you today that they are not. They serve you over battered, overcooked sides along with a burger that has the texture of a pork chop, and the bill was $35 for two burgers and fried pickles. For the love of God never go here
I didn't tip and instead squirted ketchup all over the table and left. I'm not allowed to go back there and couldn't be happier.

Thank you for warning me. I got a coupon in the mail for Red Robin and was thinking I haven't been there in ages. Guess I'll throw them in the trash where they belong.
>I didn't tip and instead squirted ketchup all over the table and left.
Power move.

I went here with two friends to take advantage of their supposed bottomless fries but no matter how many people sit at the tablet they give you probably about 20 fries at a time and give you a hard time any time you want more. I enjoyed their interesting burgers though.

Because they're patronized by people with jobs and families.

They are extremely overpriced. Even a burger from gordon ramsey's joint is 17 dollars. Just go to a nice local burger joint and get one for 8-10

The around $10 is the same as Red Robin’s, but red ribbons includes all you can eat steak fries. Their fry salt is really good, though I think it’s just salt, garlic powder, pepper, and msg. Everything else is just bleh, but they have booze. OP is just unreasonably upset that it cost more than McDonald’s.

This is the trick all these scummy restaurants use, if they offer endless/bottomless whatever, they give you a few bites at a time and make you bother the waitress (who isn't allowed to bring you more than that) for each subsequent serving so you end up not actually getting that many

They used to be a lot better. I remember when Red Robin first opened near me they would just have people carry around trays of fry baskets and ask people if they wanted more fries, even giving multiple per table if they wanted. You never had to ask, you just had to wait for the fry guy to show up every few minutes. Then a few years ago they revamped the restaurant to seem more "classy" or some shit and reduced all the portions. Used to be that they'd put your burger in a basket and overflow the other side with fries, then each refill would be a full basket of fries. Now they just give you this stupid little tin cup with like 5 fries in it and each fry refill is just a small handful. The bottomless fries used to mean something, now it's just a gimmick to make you overpay.

It’s because they want to look fancy. They put everything in steel circles on rectangular plates, instead of in wax paper in the red plastic fry baskets. I miss the old half-trashy dinar decor.

maybe it had to do with people getting fries and never finishing them? maybe they were throwing out too much and were losing money? on one hand i understand why they might downgrade their serving sizes, but on the other it could very well be used as a bait to reel in customers to their restaurant.

When I was a kid I'd eat all my food and have several refills of pop and still be hungry for dessert. You can bet if we had Red Robin back then I'd be scarfing down those bottomless fries like nobody's business. Kids can put away a shitload of food because they're growing and usually physically active and really need all the extra protein and calories.
