What is it in the middle? Seems awfully solid for an ideal sloppa.

>> No.16816718

How do you make a slopa?

Baked potato, there is cheddar cheese stuffed inside

>>16816718
Sauce is what makes a sloppa. So I made some BBQ chickpeas cause I'm vegetarian. No homo though.

>>16816718
What kind of sloppa? As far as I'm concerned, sloppa is just a dish that you can make in a bowl which you can then "slop" on to your plate. Maybe you want a simple sloppa to start, a la Chili?

Shoot.. what should I start with for the sauce tho

Any type of tasteful kino sloppa will do as long as it's beginners friendly

>> No.16816874

>>16816736
Minus some points for being vegetarian and for using chickpeas just because I don't like them. Bonus points for cheese stuffed potato and for BBQ. Overall 6/10

*ahem*

Anon's Kino Chili
>Ingredients: Ground Beef, Undrained Diced Tomatoes, Undrained Beans of Choice (Kidney and black work well), Green Onion, Spice blend (I also like cinnamon, garlic powder, and paprika), Cheese and toppings (optional)

>Brown beef in pot, drain fat if necessary
>Add in tomatoes, beans, spices, then stir and put the lid on for 10 minutes
>At the 8 minute mark, add in chopped green onions and stir briefly before covering again
>Serve with toppings, I like to eat it using tortilla chips

What's the percentage of fat I should be looking for at the store?

>> No.16816917

>>16816902
Fuck if I know lol, you're gonna drain more fat with more fatty meat, but you probably just want to go for a good balance. Try 80/20 and 85/15 and tell me what you think
