Question, is it safe to eat slightly undercooked pizza dough?
The top of the crust and cheese was getting charred black so despite the recipe saying to leave it 5 more minutes in the oven i took it out in hopes of not completely ruining it.
Can i also put it back in the oven to try making it better?

Cut out the undercooked layer, like you were slicing a big mac bun. Scrape off the brunt toppings and any burnt crust on the bottom.
Wa la

It's possible you'll feel a little bloated, possibly a little sick, depending on how you react to this kinda thing. But it's safe. Not food poisoning.

And your picture is far removed from that.

Took another photo, im not sure that the toppings leaked on the bottom or that its just undercooked, the stuff on the fork is what worries me

There is no burnt crust on the bottom, only the top since my oven is a lot stronger on top, cutting out my suspected undercooked shit would mean the entire base of the pizza lmao

Next time make the crust thicker so its easier to cut away the undercooked portion.

Just eat it already, goddamit. You'd be fine eating small amounts of straight up dough and this has been goddamn heated to fuck. Why are you like this?

not that guy but "food safety standards" are almost universally exaggerated because there's possibilities of lawsuits. A bit of slightly chewy dough won't kill you, nor will a bit of slightly pink piece of pork that's been cooked to temperature anyway, nor will anything a day past the expiration date. If you're really that concerned, put it in your mouth and if it feels wrong just spit it out. if you don't run a restaurant or serve your food to other people you'll be fine.
