whats the best way to cook liver and onions?
fat, temperature, herbs should the liver be pink or cooked through

>> No.16812324

I'd just give the liver to my dog and eat the onions

Onions are actually filled to the brim with harmful toxins. Eating more than one (1) small onion is enough to destroy the liver function of a 200lb man - thus killing him.

do not cut them like in your pic related
they should be slices, not chunks
>lightly flour and generously season liver slices
>heat olive oil in a pan
>cook in oil for about 5-6 minutes flipping once
>remove liver
>add onions
>cook onions while liver cools
wa la
