I'm going to say this was $50 to $75 made by a half white half Mexican named Jose and "he totally has the most authentic taco truck in town it doesn't matter if the Mexican restaurant makes better tacos these come from a TRUCK man it's authentic it's the real deal like in California man so what if he charges $2.50 for a chicken taco and $3.50 for a steak taco and it costs $0.50 to add two tablespoons of guacamole on the side bro he puts tomato onion and cilantro on it I'm telling you bro it's just like Mexico he even gives you an eighth of a lime bro it's the real deal."

Lol, that's a lot of time just because you get a craving for some Tacos.

Not everyone has time everyday to shop, cook and clean just for a meal my guy.

I could go to work and just buy some after and have the whole rest on my night to myself. Don't need to now buy full packages of ingredients in only going to use for this exact dish, then take a few hours cooking and cleaning after I eat.

I don't eat out every day, but sometimes you just want the meal and not all the cooking and shit that goes into it. Not everyone is a chef and enjoys dedicating hours a day just for some decent food. That's why people do it for a living.

This notion that if you don't cook everyone yourself, you're lazy or something is totally retarded.

he never said you're lazy, all he said was that it's simple. making food for yourself makes it taste quite a lot better, and if you have time to do so I highly recommend trying, not to mention you get complete control over what you eat, how it's prepared, seasoned, etc.

>> No.16730538

>> No.16730539

>>16730460

Fair enough, but just because something is simple doesn't mean it's time consuming. I got really into cooking a couple years back but with no aspiration to do it professionally. Then I realized big portions of my day were getting taken up just with shopping for specific ingredients, cooking and then all the clean up. It was just about as cost effective if I just bought it made for under $10 (per meal). Which isn't too hard to do around here.

Everyone knows it's probably better if you do it like that and cheaper if you eat it for the next couple days straight. Doesn't need to be said. It's redundant. Sometimes you just don't want to do all that.
