Low fat foods for higher calories?
I have gallstones and can't have them removed until the next 2 months. Only supposed to eat 30-45 grams of fat a day to avoid massive pain and flare ups. It's hard to get calories with low fat and I don't know much recipes that has lower amounts of fat. Ive mostly been eating cereal,, fruits, and nonfat dairy to help me get my calories in.. Thought you'd guys would know.

That's legitimately tough.

Id say lean beef/turkey (ground or otherwise) over grains or bread, cooked without oil save for maybe a single pass with nonstick spray. Protein is a macro you really don't want to go without.

If you want your grains to put in work for you, look to quinoa. Filling, great macros, calorie dense. I can't cook it well and it tastes ass plain, but your store's freezer aisles probably have microwavable bags already sexed up with themed ingredients.

Meat in general is good but you need to be able to eyeball the macros and prepare it at home. Avoid stuff like sausage and meatballs or really any factory processed meat, theyre made with waste anatomy so there's typically 2g of fat for every 1g of protein. Restaurant meat is soaked in oil and butter as well so even ordering something that sounds health conscious like grilled chicken breast is bad news.
