>go to buy my regular bottle of wine
>guy at the counter says "just so you know if you ever have problems with the wine just let us know, we all know you here"

Why would he say this? Is he shaming my alcoholism?

>> No.16703983

He wants you to ask for help and get upsold better stuff.
Or wants you to admit you have a problem.

He's probably being nice since you're a regular, and he wants you to continue buying from them. However, if I were you, I would be too embarrassed to ever go near there again.

The worst part is I cycle through all the alcohol vendors within a mile of my condo (5 total) so I'm not seeing the same people every day.

Used to for years, but a switch flipped in my brain one day and now it instantly gives me terrible anxiety and heart palpitations. It was wild, literally woke up one day and all the positive effects were gone and replaced with the aforementioned negative ones.

I know exactly what you're talking about. That's because cannabis is a psychedelic, and to get her benefits you have to get the set and setting right. She was trying to tell you that you have some kind of trauma in your mind, body, or both which you need to resolve. That was not a sentence of never enjoying cannabis again. What you once got from smoking is still there for you. Trust me on this one. I know very well how cannabis works. I know how booze works, too. It is a nerve toxin. That shit will kill you, fren. Please be careful.

Sounds completely right, so strange how psychedelic's can tear right through the lies we tell ourselves and lay you bare. I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm a heck of a lot closer than ever, and spend more and more time in those periods of brightness and less in the dark.

Wish you health and wellness fren, we're all gonna make it

I am from europe... and when i was a alcoholic i basically bought every second day a bottle of vodka at the same place after some time they suddenly started to ask me for ID semi regularly, apperantly they do this with guys they know have a "problem" to give a bit of a "hint" since they are not allowed to talk about that stuff directly... now later... i kinda appreciated that small step and wake up call.

I do this with food spots, even if I really want the same food twice in a row, i don't want the pressure of being a regular.

He's letting you know that you're a regular that they like and that they'd go out of their way to help you. Most people that work at liquor stores are low key alcoholics if they aren't working their way through college or some shit.
t. used to work at a liquor store (and am an alcoholic)

This is the kind of stuff I love hearing. Good for you, anon. I'll share something with you, too.

I'm trying to recover from a rare auto-immune disease. I'm very young, just in my early 30s, and I am more or less disabled because my body is literally trying to kill me. I have made some significant progress recently, as well. Cannabis has helped me do that.

Another thing which has really halped me do it is the new Tool album, Fear Inoculum. It is really designed for growth, healing, and bringing oneself into the light. Their music beforehand has always been about those things, but this album is designed for the work. It's why it took them 10 years. This album didn't just help me to open up my mind. It helped me turn back on parts of my nervous system which have been shut down for a long time. It has sacred geometry and binaural beats encoded into it from start to finish.

We are all gonna make it, indeed, fren. Be well.

>is it a gift?
>no it's just for me
Also I go into the shop knowing exactly what I want and show him a picture (ask him can he help me find it). He finds it and he says do I want one or a case. And then later before asking if it's a gift he seems so surprised that I knew his shop stocked it.

There's another wine shop where I've been to and I also get strange energy from the customer service guy

I wonder why so many guys working at liquor places are homosexual. Granted, I'm a leaf so they're all government owned (so the hiring standards are higher), but it's bizarrely high. Like 50% of the male staff.

Is it just me or does he just mean if you get a bad bottle just bring it back and theyll refund it?

Don't think he meant anything about a drinking problem.

yeah I posted this >>16704209 and I feel like it's that, but I am also slightly unsure because it could be that they are shocked to find out that a person like me is into wine to the extent that I go into specialist stores and not just a supermarket
