What I remember as chinese food growing up as a young kid in Hong Kong

>turtle/shark fin soup
>fried chicken feet
>pig uterus noodles
>fried rice with pork knuckle gristle
>unidentifed fish balls on a stick
>boiled dog meat
>one time, monkey brains

Americans have no idea how bad it really is. No one in china knows what the fuck beef and broccoli is or sweet and sour pork. Chinese food is disgusting. Literally the worst parts to eat of any animal. Makes sense because chinks are the race of humans closest to animals. They make disgusting noises when they eat, slurp everything, men in the streets lift their fucking wife beaters over their sweaty stomachs while laughing and chewing with their mouths full of food. Like what kind of idiot decided 2 sticks is the most practical way to eat grains of fucking rice. Starving Nigerians who eat grass have a better diet than the average chinese.

I once ordered this sushi while in Japan, and it was honest to god one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. I liked it so much I decided to find the chef and say my thanks, but when I asked the waiter they were being all dodgy like, "oh he's really busy, he doesn't really have the time and all that you know".
So I asked if I could use the toilet and they direct me to it, and as I'm on my way I pass the door to the kitchen, and start hearing all these weird noises. And I'm like, I know japanese is mental but it's not that weird sounding, so I poke my head through and see banana peels everywhere which is odd since there's no banana in sushi. Suddenly, this short person comes out of nowhere and starts making sushi like mad. I walk up to him and say "you've done a proper job here this", but it turns out, was a lil monkey fella.

why is japanese cuisine so hilariously bad?
the main staple dish of nipponland is sushi which is literally just fish on rice
their curry is just watered soup
ramen is just inferior version of authentic Chinese noodles
even instant noodles is taiwanese (Chinese) and not from japan

why could the nips not make a satisfactory cuisine?

funa zushi is a traditional food that only a few Japanese people like to eat.
And it costs $40-$200 per fish.

Ive never had narezushi but I’ve tried funazushi (only difference is type of fish). Funny enough, my Japanese fiancée hasn’t, and wasn’t willing to when I did.
It actually wasn’t bad at all. The smell wasn’t nearly as horrific as YouTubers act like it is on their videos.
It does have sort of a pronounced aged/fermented sharpness along with the fishy taste.
I’d imagine that if you really like fish, and you really like strong blue cheese or Stilton, you’d probably like (or at least not gag on) funazushi.

narezushi is made all over Japan.
Among them, funazushi has a peculiar smell because it is a freshwater fish.
The strength of the smell varies depending on how the fish is processed.
I think what you have tried is funazushi, which has less odor.

About narezushi in Japan
For example, the salmon narezushi produced in Hokkaido is good for beginners.
Personally, I like Heshiko from Fukui Prefecture.

I did mention that I haven’t tried narezushi and did indeed have funazushi.
I would like to try the former though; do you know of any good places in/around Osaka that make it?
