I try to make their jobs easier but I’m not going to start rearranging the inventory for them. After all, why am I tipping them?

I take them from the back because those are the coldest.

I pull them forward and onto the cold, hard floor. I do this once for every shop I visit. Not my problem.

Whenever I get gas I slam the pump handle into the pump as hard as I can usually a few times. I’ve broken three pump handles like this and it feels so good. Gotta stick it to Big Oil and their prices gouging however you can.

I also take advantage of the self checkouts by using cheap bulk codes to buy more expensive items. Last month I bough about $40 worth of pine nuts for literally the price of peanuts kek

Start off small to get an idea of the security and attentiveness of staff. One trick is to buy like half a dozen or more bags of nuts, beans and other dry goods. Throw in some chocolate or candy too. Then mix up a few codes (so it benefits you, obviously) and learn the store, staff and what you can get away with. Do this several times until you feel confident enough to go for something big like pine nuts, cashews, almonds and the like. If they still have the old setup where you write the numbers on the tag then make the mistake here for plausible deniability (a key part of scamming).

My go-to grocery store stopped doing self-serve bulk stuff because of COVID so I purposely go to another store to scam bulk items. I also buy milk and a few non-bulk things so it doesn't look obvious.

I encourage you to give it a show. Not only can you save a good chunk of change in these times of uncertainty and inflation but it gives you a bit of a rush, dopamine burst, sense of justice and fighting back. It's great. But don't bother if you look sketchy or like a dirtbag or, if you do, dress appropriately. A big part of getting away with things is looking and speaking with more class than the dregs who would normally be associated with theft.

We've been getting screwed for a long time. Better to get a few crumbs worth of revenge by opportunistically lashing out than to just take it up the ass like a good consoomer.

Except it's not a selfless act that benefits everyone in the end. It's only benefits you in the end, and it can hurt others when you try to convince them to do it too. These kind of actions don't just not solve any problems, it creates more.

>just take it up the ass and make sure to smile
No.

Also I started ripping off self-checkout machines (which serve to reduce the bottom line and eliminate jobs previously occupied by humans) when I was a grad student. Kept it up as a postdoc and now I'm a research manager for a very promising startup. I make six figures and buy pine nuts, cashews, almonds, chocolate and more for the price of peanuts, lentils and black beans.

Meanwhile you tell yourself that you're a good boy so don't feel so bad. Pathetic.

A classic. I can tell your favorite comic is that eraser stealing one. Well you keep you're some messiah and how holy you are. You're not making a difference. Lynch some politicians and CEOs, actually start a change, that benefits the society of a whole instead of yourself and then get back to me.

The subject picture isn't a shareholding thing. I don't even think any shareholders would get an email about doing free labor anyway. You know how stupid that sounds?
