he's gone in to many dives sure. unless you think of a dive as a shithole with an L shaped bar, a few booths, no food, and an aging angry owner/bartender. to me it just means a small restaurant off the beaten path that is a local favorite

For me, it was the bar that didn't check ID very near my college campus that got busted twice for it and got off the hook each time because the owner was a little old lady who "didn't know." Checked up on it recently and they definitely cleaned up their act and wouldn't do that anymore.

Also for anywhere in America he really struggles to get too far from LA, New York and Chicago, despite the occasional "coming home" to Columbus.
