Yes it has. It’s easy as hell to culture and large-scale production was reported almost 10 years ago.

There is just very little demand or incentive to do so.

Tastes like lobster/fish to me and I really don’t like it. Doesn’t matter where I’ve collected it or how young or what condition it’s in, I can’t stand the taste. Looks beautiful and turns the butter or oil you cook it in a nice deep orange color.

Can’t stand it though which sucks because I find hundreds of these every year.

He's actually contributed and discovered very important things to the field whether or not you think he's a "real mycologist" or whatever the fuck. He doesn't tell anyone to take mushrooms or eat them more he literally just talks about the ways that they can help the earth and humans in general. You have to be some absolute butt raped retards to think he's trying to trick anyone about anything. Yeah he sells mushroom products but he literally never shills them in his talks. Paul Stamets is first and foremost an entrepreneur-capitalist who sells ground up mushrooms and extracts under the guise of unsubstantiated health benefits. The fact that he has becomes fabulously wealthy doing what is unquestionably unethical should tell you what kind of person he is.

His public persona is the gentle eco-warrior dude mushrooms shaman and his public talks serve to boost his image and consequently his business. He is a shrewd businessman and all the more because the general public is none the wiser. Even that hat, which he will never cease to describe to you, is part of his image. It's all contrived.

He is a fraud and a charlatan and no amount of TED talks or pop science woah dude mushrooms talks are going to change this fact. He anthropomorphizes fungi and dumbs down the field with his new age garbage which, again, serves to make him wealthier.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
