I'm not a chili fan per se, but a like certain things a 'bit' spicy. What I don't get is how people like to add the hottest chili on earth to their food. Why, even? Does it add to flavor, I think not.
Why make your mouth hot as a volcano, is it some self loathing thing?

Depends. I've found adding spice to food has asymptotic ally diminishing returns. So a good flavorful habanero sauce is about as hot as I need. But then on the other hand I like eating these by themselves and drinking the liquid in tiny sips.

I made chili with the first ripe Carolina Reaper on my plant the other day and it was a nice heat level. Holy fuck those things are devilishly hot on their own. The numbing is addictive. I do think I prefer something slightly less hot like habaneros where you can taste the fruity pepper taste as well as the heat.

Its kind of a high, the heat activites the pleasure and pain area in your brain at the same time.

The dude who made the carolina reaper was a heroin junkie and that became his new way to get a fix.

spicy food releases endorphins, and painfully spicy food releases a lot of endorphins. so when you're burning and suffering on the outside, deep down you're getting addicted.

people who aren't getting endorphins any other way (i.e. aren't having sex) are more prone to hot sauce abuse

Are there anonymous clubs I can join for my hot sauce abuse?

I met this guy and shook his hand. Then I accidentally tried his hottest pepper extract and thought I was going to die. The guy behind me tried it and immediately vomited.

Plus drunk whites with complexes and sadoshit. btw. if production companies see this, please quit making hot sauce with vineager and fucking onions and garlic. fucking gross.

Because it makes my pee pee into PEE PEE.

I also grew up eating spicy food so the "hottest chili on earth" doesn't taste nearly as hot to me as you would think. I was raised to think the spicier the food is the better it is for you.

It was a booth with many different samples. Blindly trying them and ended up tasting the hottest one first.
