The first time I looked at a pic of a Southern Comfort bottle in one of these threads here, I noticed for the first time that it was bottled in New Orleans. I lived all my life in and around the New Orleans area (except for a few choice months immediately after Katrina) and I had never even heard anything about Southern Comfort being bottled in New Orleans. So, the next time I was at my local grocery and noticed Southern Comfort on the shelves, I decided to try it, the 100 proof version, because I figured, "how bad could it be?" Now, I'm an old-fashioned guy and it is literally against my religion to waste anything edible or drinkable. But, after one sip, this was one of the few things that I immediately poured the rest of right down the fucking drain.
