I'm looking to lose weight. I quit smoking 3 months ago after smoking for 10 years, so I have the will power to do it. The problem with my diet is that I don't eat breakfast and lunch, and just pig out for dinner. I don't have the time to be preparing all kinds of breakfast, lunches that are low calorie and filling. I've put on 25 pounds of fat since Covid began.

So, I'm thinking about having nutrient shakes or smoothies for breakfast and lunch, and having a small dinner and that'll be my diet. What I'm thinking of getting are Special K shakes, Slimfast shakes, or Soylent (no homo)

Anybody know of any product, that will give me some calories for breakfast and lunch, and stave off hunger that I don't have to make any effort to prepare? That's why I mentioned nutrient shakes and smoothies because they're effortless.

Just stay under your BMR when you pig out.

Breakfast, sultana bran, low fat milk, black coffee.
Lunch, boiled eggs or a can of Deenz, some steamed greens
Dinner, some form of fat, protein and carbs

I don't mind drinking sweets, but eating sweets like candy, cakes, pies, ice cream, cereal, and all that I don't particularly like. I don't like the mouthfeel of something that's granularly sugar it's sickly sweet to me. I can drink soda, or shakes, and smoothies.

Sultana bran is not sweet. It's literally bran flakes and sultanas. It's low calorie and a good source of fibre.
A good smoothie for breakfast though is Weet bix, Banana, peanut butter, milk and water (yoghurt optional)

Most of those drinks have an ingredient list a mile long. Give the core power protein shakes a shot.
