Is there a Thai food copypasta yet? Yanno, like the "I grew up in Hong Kong, nobody in China has heard of broccoli" one or the "Japanese food is all bland and stolen, ramen is from China and instant noodles are from taiwan" one. If I was to do a Viet one I'd start with "everything good about Vietnamese cuisine was stolen from the french (banh mi, pate) or the chinese (noodles, pho)" and work off that

In seriousness I have no genuine opinion on the Indochinese, I like some Thai dishes, and I like the concept of Banh Mi but haven't really eaten much Vietnamese stuff
