The important point is that the researchers tried to ID it using primers specific to a few species of tuna. The fish didn’t belong to one of these species hence they couldn’t positively ID it. The media and retards took this to mean it was unidentifiable as in a new or unknown species or something like that. It just means it isn’t tuna based on their primers.
