Fair point - what I had in mind when I made that comment were those small rustic restaurants run by locals (European, Asian) which focus on the traditional cuisine of that area. Seasonal menus are great as long as they stick to a few good dishes. The sort of places that think they can be fresh having a 30+item menu that changes every month or try putting out a new dish every week are awful.
