I am sick and tired of the fucking LIES and SLANDER I see leveled against steak fries. I am not leaving this thread until you all apologize and admit that they are the best.

Fuck that. Tempura fries are king. Steak fries can eat shit. They simply aren't up to the task of being a french fry. No matter how you cook them, there's too much potato and not enough fry.

If I wanted mashed potatoes I'd order them, and they'd taste better than these fuggin things. There's a million delicious ways to cook a potato, and this one ain't one of them.

This, but all fries done well can be enjoyable. Shoestrings, crispy and well done are so enjoyable on a cuban palomilla steak, with some marinated onions nestled under it to soak up all the juices.
