Getting fat's a calorie thing, though, you can get fat on any ratio of foods as long as you eat enough of them. I'm legitimately curious why a dietitian would rec a high carb diet, though. Even if you eat at a maintenance level of calories it's going to push your carb intake well above what I understand to be a healthy limit and overwork your insulin production.
