Why do my fellow Americans not enjoy lamb/mutton? Boys, I feel like if you just tried it you'd enjoy it. It's got a special taste that's distinct from beef and pork; I don't know if gamy is the right word because I've had venison which is nothing like lamb, but it's got a certain tang to it.

Post some good lamb recipes ITT.

Nobody likes mutton. Only muslims and jews eat it, because it's cheap and they can't simply buy pork.

Mutton, no. Way too gamey.
Lamb, ehh in small quantities, but it's great when it's blended with pork and spices to make your own gyro meat

I’m Greek Orthodox so yeah everyone I know eats lamb. Roast a whole one on a spit for holidays.

The next time you're at a BBQ, try out these lamb skewers; delicious and super easy in terms of prep. They're originally from Western China but they've become super popular in all of Asia as of late. Growing up I'd visit my dad who worked in China and eat a couple of them every night. The key is cumin, it activates the lamb and takes it to flavortown. You can probably find them at certain Chinese restaurants too. I miss good Chinese BBQ, so as of late I've just been doing it myself. My white bros ate like 30 of my skewers during the 4th of July, I've thoroughly converted them to lamb eaters.

Lamb or mutton is without a doubt the best meat. You just don't get better than a good lamb madras.

Do Americans really not eat lamb?

This. What this anon right here said. I ate a ton of these when I lived in China. Tasty as hell, and a great late-night drunk food. The cumin very much makes the recipe. Cook over wood coals, if at all possible.
I've actually put serious thought into opening a mobile chuan'r station so I can hit all the bars in town, making people delicious chaun'r of various meats.

it tastes like wool, thats the issue, the wool seals in a lot of odd flavours

lamb is like the one meat no religion has banned because it's so good it'd be a crime
