But, if you've watched this video, I think you'll understand that the basic message is this: You may laugh, but I suddenly find myself in the position of being a 37-year-old man with a vasectomy and a large audience of 13 year old boys who are obsessed with fighting about what the superior Linux distro is (especially in certain online communities). I am seriously worried about the concepts of noodles that I see metastasizing among 13 year old boys that should aspire to suffocate in a cloud of smoke in a submarine fire lost a mile under sea and letting their mom bury an empty casket all by joining the Navy, or at the very least steal their mom's credit card to buy a $99 in-app purchase of World of Tanks Gold. I feel an obligation to offer a model of pasta making that young men can look up to that I believe is better for them. When I was a teenager, the pasta society offered to me were either of the same-old overly al dente or painfully goopy overcooked unsexy pasta. I had no idea how to navigate through those two extremes until I found two pastas that taught me, in large measure, how to be the wet buttery noodle that I am today: Kraft and Annies. It's possible to a delicious cheesy noodle -- to care about other noodle shapes, to be sexy, and sexy, and also be resilient, assertive, and franky, fuckable. Keep in mind I am saying this to my audience of young boys. I am describing myself as fuckable to this audience. The longest bar in my YouTube analytics is probably the 13-17 year old male bracket. All you 13-17 year old males can be fuckable like me if you learn from my videos. Anyway, the kitchen is a place where I think a lot of these issues come up.
