The only answer:
Nathans dog
Poppy seed bun
Tomato wedges
Onion (raw pref, but you can saute it if you're gay)
Sport peppers (giardiniera works too)
celery seed (or salt)
Relish or not is up to you.
Pickle wedge

I live in Idaho and can get regular 8-packs, bun-length 8-packs, jumbo's, cheddars, and 16-packs with ease in every major grocery store in town. I have a hard time believing you couldn't find at least one or two varieties.

you understand the true taste of a hot dog

>> No.16447195

Chicago style without the pickle spear (grilled dog, relish, tomato, onions, sport peppers--or pepperoncinis in a pinch, and celery salt) or chili dogs (grilled dog, chili, diced onion, grated medium cheddar). Rarely I'll replace the dogs with brautwurst and do a spicy mustard, onions, and kraut.
