Don't you have to be homeless and unable to work in order to get on SNAP?
Or can I just apply and get that even though I'm just neeting it up off my savings?

it depends on the state. in my case I'm simply not making any income
>>16445202
is ground beef really the cheapest option? figured I would buy whole chickens and break them down. I don't cook that much meat

Rice and canned beans. Some ground meat, seasoning of your choice and frozen veggies to go along with it.

I've been buying things like lobster and snow crab legs and gourmet jellybeans. I bought a birthday cake the other day and it wasnt even my birthday. Sadly you cant buy alcohol with snap benefits but you can buy energy drinks and then just steal alcohol when nobody is looking.

Yeah I also can't buy things like dish soap, toothpaste, food storage etc. If I wanted to I suppose I could apply for unemployment to pay for that but I'm serious about finding work

That's worth considering. Not gonna give you my life story but I'm starting with all the neighborhood shops that are near to where I live and will expand outwards from there all the while getting assistance from someone in the family whose job is literally headhunting/resume creation. So I have the support I need, just low on cash these days. Thanks for the advice

why not just do both, money's money. you'r going to be taxed to pay for it once you start working anyways so you may as well take advantage while you can
