The one thing I have heard from people who lived in China and moved to the West, is that Chinese food cooked in the West with Western hands and Western ingredients is way better than the local stuff back home.

What I remember as chinese food growing up as a young kid in Hong Kong

>turtle/shark fin soup
>fried chicken feet
>pig uterus noodles
>fried rice with pork knuckle gristle
>unidentifed fish balls on a stick
>boiled dog meat
>one time, monkey brains

Americans have no idea how bad it really is. No one in china knows what the fuck beef and broccoli is or sweet and sour pork. Chinese food is disgusting. Literally the worst parts to eat of any animal. Makes sense because chinks are the race of humans closest to animals. They make disgusting noises when they eat, slurp everything, men in the streets lift their fucking wife beaters over their sweaty stomachs while laughing and chewing with their mouths full of food. Like what kind of idiot decided 2 sticks is the most practical way to eat grains of fucking rice. Starving Nigerians who eat grass have a better diet than the average chinese.

I support China and the CPC, I think the CPC is doing great things for the Chinese people
I do think the propagandising attempts are kind of cringe but when you have the bulk of the western media being against China and CIA operations like radio free asia I think it's fair, not something i'm interested in personally though
As for other 2nd gen chinese it depends, most have bought into the western propaganda hook line and sinker but they aren't obsessed by it

Chink here. He's right. People who say otherwise are either talking about niche shit thats hard to find in the west, biased for specific regions of chinese food of which the west does typically does another region's variant (meaning they're comparing apples to oranges) or they're larping and hoping other retards will think they have """taste""". The majority of chinese food is better done in the west if you make direct comparisons.

His food is great but even a lot of Chinese people think it's weird since it is very Sichuan-style. Green Sichuan peppercorn in everything, chilli in everything - it is very regional and not what most Chinamen eat.

He focuses on one region of food, and cooks them old school Chinese style (aka cook their shitty meat so it softens and then slather everything in oil), so while he may be a master chef for china (idk), until I can see him knock out some western chef indicator dishes like steak au poivre, blackened swordfish, etc.

Yeah, Sichuan/Chongqing is more 'numb' but still pretty spicy. Whereas those places go for raw heat.
