How much do you think the rabbis got to charge for this?

If there's an organization behind that labeling, I'd guess they paid a one-time fee for it, so none of your money is going to them? Is that kind of thing necessary when all the ingredients are pareve?

It'ss not like they pass along those costs to customers or anything.

Nothing. Chuds just get triggered by that superfluous labeling, which is added to get people to buy the poison when they weren't even thinking of it.

Link to full article? Are they wanting to charge for a label? Couldn't they skip it, because jews are smart enough to understand which ingredients are pareve? Should people who can't figure it out be allowed access to nutrient-free calories that will cost taxpayers a lot in dental work?

Regular coke doesn't use real sugar. the fake sugar formula it uses contains trace ammounts of glycerine derived from beef tallow, which isn't kosher. The kosher coke alters the ingredients to include vegetable glycerine. The supplier of that glycerine also had to spend about $300'000 in today's money building new pipelines to keep the beef and vegetable derived glycerines separate.

Fat hands typed this, and source on high fructose corn syrup production involving gylcerine? I'm only aware of an microbial/enzymatic process, which replaced the old acid and pressure cooker method. You can turn any starch into sugar at home if you can get some HCl

A little bit, yes. It's worth nothing that coke's certification process was the first time anyone ever applied the rules so stringently, and set the standard for all certification going forward.

Coke's use of glycerine is something like 0.01% which would normally be diluted enough to be fine, but the exact word word diluted used in jewish law translates to "nullified" and it was ruled that adding an ingredient deliberately, no matter how diluted, isn't nullifying.

that's pretty stupid on your part but it gives me an excuse to share a fun fact so here goes:
all alcohol in the US is, by law, radioactive.
alcohol distilled from petroleum is chemically indistinguishable from alcohol distilled from plants. the only way to tell the difference is by scanning it for trace amounts of radiation that all plants have and that petroleum does not. it is illegal to sell petroleum derived alcohol for drinking purposes.

I can’t imagine why Jews would pay to advertise coke as kosher to fellow Jews…. If anything I’d say Coca-Cola is using the kosher label to jew the Jews out of their money, but you know, that’s less fun than conspiracy theories.
