you must be a thirdie. Most firsties buy their chicken by the piece, like all breasts or all thighs. A lot of whole chickens don't even come with the organs anymore, because people didn't want them.

Anyways I enjoy when chicken hearts are stewed for a few hours. They don't get tender per say but they make a really nice, unique texture with a deal of meaty flavour

I throw them in with the rest of the chicken carcass and giblets for stock. I don't put the liver in, though. Used to feed it to the dog but she passed away so now idk what to do.
