We started selling "Beyond Burgers" where I work, and I literally put on a glove and double mask whenever I drop one on the grill, because they smell vile. I keep telling myself I'll try one, but it just seems like a waste of a night (they smell like wet cat food). I just went with a variation on my usual tonight, but will make a thread when I actually try this faux crap. We got a new cook last week and he asked me how to know when a Beyond Burger is properly cooked, and I literally said, "I have no fucking idea, but everyone who's ordered on has said that it was the best one they've had, as every other place overcooks them, so just pretend like it's a normal burger and cook it medium rare".

I've always been outspoken about my hatred for Diablo sauce, and the vast superiority of Fire, but in these trying times I've lowered myself to trying shit like the Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme, and it turns out that Diablo actually compliments the black beans. It varies by location, but typically, yes. The cravings box is $5 across the board, though, and you just choose an item from 4 different categories. I was never really a fan of TB potatoes, as they're often overcooked, or have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, but the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes are actually kind of passable these days, when the only other side options are chips and cheese or fucking cinnamon twists.
