Stuffed cabbage is really good.
I’m not sure if borscht is polish specifically but it’s Slav/Eastern European food. It’s all really hearty stuff so best during the fall/winter imo

>Slav/Eastern
All share the same foods, except for maybe Hungary who add a bunch of spices and paprika to basically the same dishes Russbros and Polacks eat.

try bigos for a traditional food, ord polish wódka if you need it even more traditional.
at my grandparants we often had soup (chicken soup). also a meal from the gods: fried potatoes with buttermilk.
next thing i will post is Zurek. after a whole day hiking in the mountains Zurek is what your body needs. it's like an isotonic drink but much better and healthier.

>> No.16267605

there is also sausage, vodka, and doughnuts.

it's like sauerkraut but with tomatopaste, garlic, smoked ham, sausgage, and a lot more ingredience. it tastes best the next day. the probiotic kraut will give you superhuman powers giving you the ability to ban abortions and stuff

That looks tasty af. Looks like sausage, eggs, maybe potatoes, bread, and what else? I'd devour that with a cold beer and a crisp salad.

Most people don't like it when it's sour. Bigos can be sour, but doesn't have to be. The best kind is cooked for a whole day and is dark in color. It isn't sour at all. Instead, it is completely infused with the flavors of the various meats that are in it

some of my favorites would be:
>bigos (christmas variant with boletus mushrooms and prunes is the most based)
>barszcz z uszkami (clear borscht with dumplings filled with meat or mushrooms. sweet and sour, earthy and peppery)
>zupa ogórkowa (dill pickle soup)
>ćwikła (grated beetroot with horseradish and lemon juice. goes great with dark meats)
>żurek (sour rye soup)
