What I remember as Chinese food growing up as a young kid in Hong Kong

This old chinese couple I'm friends with often orders from a restaurant and gives me a box. Their pai gu rice, however you spell it, always has bone shards. A lot of Chinese dishes are absolutely filled with (literally) inedible shit.
Sichuan cuisine is a step above the rest with the spices and wild peppercorns but that can't really compare to the heft and savory perfection of many Mexican dishes. It's a tough decision only because of how good sichuan hotpot is, other than that Mexican food wins hands down.
