It was the last meal I shared with my wife when she was well enough to still get out of bed. She lived in Osaka her entire life, but had never travelled to Hokkaido. Going there was basically a bucket list item for her. She felt good/energetic one weekend and insisted we must go; we went there via Shinkansen, but returned to Osaka via emergency medical flight.
